Visa Processing in Frankfurt

If an Immigrant Visa Petition was filed with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) in Frankfurt and you reside in Germany; you will receive a confirmation of your application via mail by the Immigrant Visa Unit at the US Consulate General in Frankfurt.

If you are under time restrictions, USCIS recommends to filing in person as mail-in petitions take longer to process!  You will then be able to start the Visa Application process with the Immigrant Visa Section that same day. Please see the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) in Frankfurt webpage for further instructions.

In order to be able to proceed your case as quickly as possible we kindly ask you to fill in the required forms as accurately and as detailed as possible.  This way, we can assure that you are prepared with all required documentation on your day of interview and avoid a delay in the visa process.

What is the next step? What documents do I need for my Immigrant Visa?
