Please follow the steps here to apply for a Non Immigrant Visa. The instructions provided on our website apply to all applicants in Germany, regardless of nationality.
It normally takes between 7-10 business days for you to receive your passport, but in some cases can take longer.
There is no visa pick-up service available. You must submit an envelope (Please see Step 8)

| Step 1: | Who needs a Visa? |
| Anyone who does not qualify for the Visa Waiver Program, will be working, will be studying in the U.S., holds a "Kinderreissepass" or matches the criteria listed here is required to have a valid visa in order to travel to the U.S. | |
| Step 2: | Have your Photo taken |
| Everyone is required to upload a digital photo into the DS-160 application form; the image must meet our Photo Requirements. | |
| Step 3: | Complete the Application Forms |
| Various forms are required for each applicant. Read here to find out which forms you need to complete for your appointment day. | |
| Step 4: | Make an Appointment |
| Our appointments are all made online or over the telephone. Please follow the instructions here on how to make an appointment. There is no walk-in visa service. Appointments currently available until the end of February 2012. View the current appointment wait times. |

| Step 5: | Pay the Application Fee |
|
Proof of payment is required when you come on your appointment day. Emergency Appointment Only: If you are scheduled for an emergency appointment, you will receive separate instructions on how to pay the visa application fee. |

| Step 6: | Gather Supporting Documentation |
