Secretary Rice Attends G-8 foreign ministerial in Germany
May 30/31, 2007. On May 30, Secretary Rice attended the G-8 Foreign Ministerial in Potsdam. She also participated in a meeting of the Middle East Quartet. On May 31, she was presented the Eric M. Warburg Award of the Atlantik-Brücke. Dr. Rice was honored for her special merits and her strong commitment, as a member of the National Security Council of President George H. W. Bush, in supporting German Chancellor Dr. Helmut Kohl to achieve German unification in 1989.
