16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence

November 25th is the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women (IDEVAW), a day to recognize the negative impacts of violence against women and girls on all aspects of society. IDEVAW commences the global "16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence" campaign, which culminates on December 10th, International Human Rights Day. The linkages between these two internationally recognized days emphasize that violence against women and girls is a violation of human rights.
