Medical examination procedure
In order to avoid unnecessary delays in the issuance of your immigrant visa, we are providing you with a list of the Consulate's panel physicians in Germany.
You may make your own appointment for the medical examination in advance of your interview at any one of the physicians' offices listed.
You should schedule your medical appointment no later than six weeks before your intended date of departure to the United States, and no earlier than six months before your departure date.
NOTE: You do not need an appointment for the physicians in Frankfurt, they are open Monday - Fridays from 07:30 - 11:00. Click here for directions to the Frankfurt panel physicians
Please bring the following documents with you to the examination:
- Valid passport
- 3 photographs
- Vaccination records
- Fee
- Tests/results of any disabilities or illnesses.
