Ambassador Timken, Mrs. Sue Timken, Deputy Chief of Mission Koenig, and Mrs. Natalie Koenig Wish Everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

At the residence, Ambassador Timken and his wife Sue talk about their Christmas experience in a short video. They express their appreciation for the opportunity to celebrate the holidays in Germany and how much they enjoy visiting German Christmas markets. The Timkens point out that for them Christmas is also a time for sharing with people who are less fortunate and they also thank people who are thinking of military families during this time of year. They briefly introduce the American-style Christmas decorations at their home in Berlin as well.
The Deputy Chief of Mission Koenig, and Mrs. Natalie Koenig join the Timkens with a Christmas message in German and English. They recall the many different styles of Christmas celebrations they have participated in while living in different parts of the world during 20 years of life in the Foreign Service. This year, they are looking forward to spending the holidays with a traditional German-style Christmas.
