Newt Gingrich discusses UN Reform in Berlin

June 2, 2005.

A joint press conference took place at the German Bundestag for the co-chair of the Task Force on the United Nations, Newt Gingrich, and Volker Rühe, Chairman of the German Foreign Affairs Committee, to discuss UN reform. They provided observations on the necessity of reform of the United Nations concerning human resource issues, core UN responsibilities, and enlargement of the Security Council.
