The Trade Leads Program of the United States Department of Agriculture is the fastest and easiest way for buyers of food and other agricultural products to establish contact with U.S. suppliers. This service is free of charge.
If you wish to obtain offers from U.S. exporters for a particular agricultural product, simply submit the inquiry form below to your nearest FAS office. Your request will be electronically transmitted to Washington, D.C., for distribution through various channels - fax polling system, electronic business boards, JOURNAL OF COMMERCE, and in the weekly U.S. Department of Agriculture publication, EXPORT BRIEFS. With a computer and modem, U.S. exporters literally can access Trade Leads the same day they are submitted by the foreign buyer. More than 36,000 U.S. firms receive trade leads through these distribution systems each week. Interested U.S. suppliers will respond directly to you with the product information and quotations.
