Election Party at the Amerika Haus Berlin Set the Scene for Election Night

November 2/3, 2004. More than 800 invited guests joined Ambassador Coats, embassy officials and staff for an election night party at the Amerika Haus on November 2, which was organized in cooperation with the Aspen Institute Berlin and the Fulbright Alumni Association. The evening began with a panel discussion by U.S. election experts on candidates and issues of the 2004 presidential race, moderated by Cherno Jobatey. The Berlin Thunder Cheerleaders and a Country & Western Band entertained the guests in the course of the evening.

The election events continued in the morning of November 3 with a panel discussion in cooperation with the DaimlerChrysler Corporation at the Hotel Adlon. Moderator Elizabeth Pond and U.S. experts analyzed the presidential elections 2004.
