Election Night Events
The U.S. Embassy is officially associated with two election-night events hosted at Telekom and Bertelsmann. These events are by invitation only.
We recognize that in past election years the election watch at the Amerika Haus was a much-loved Berlin tradition; we hope that this year’s events will build on that tradition. There are a number of other election-related events planned in Berlin and around Germany on the evening of November 4. We wish all these programs much success as they reflect the strong and positive German interest in the American elections.
Election Party “America Votes” at the Bertelsmann representation
The U.S. Embassy in cooperation with the The American Academy in Berlin and Bertelsmann (CNN, RTL, and n-tv) host an Election Night Party with a live TV talk show.

Election Night Party at the Telekom representation
The U.S. Embassy and The German Marshall Fund in cooperation with the American Chamber of Commerce e. V., Deutsche Atlantische Gesellschaft e. V., Deutsche Gesellschaft für Auswärtige Politik e. V., Deutsche Telekom AG, Internationaler Club im Auswärtigen Amt e. V., Verein Berliner Kaufleute und Industrieller, Verlag Der Tagesspiegel GmbH, and ZDF will host an Election Night Party at the Hauptstadtrepräsentanz Deutsche Telekom. The evening will involve an expert panel, Upon The Hour briefings, and music with the band Colorado and D.J. Sheldon. ZDF will broadcast live from the Telekom election studio until 9 a.m.
